After finally showing all my characters the loading screen goes to 80% for a while and kicks me out saying "character not found". Same issue for me (been happening for about an hour), was freaking out for a bit thinking only I was having the problem.
To edit portraits: Open the default images in a suitable image editor--replace the black circle with whatever you want to have as your portrait. Save the image. Didn't happen so I had to Alt F4. Logged back on to a blank/black character select screen and now I can't play. I love how this was apparently fixed yesterday but clearly it's still an issue. Okay, I do not know how to explain this, after playing WoW for a bit (no issues), I get up to do a few things and my computer goes to sleep. I come back and wake my computer back up, open WoW and then seem to have this black screen issue when I do anything and the black screen lasts for about 2 to 3 seconds, including selecting different characters in the same realm. Then nothing works anymore, and when I try to login again it says character already exists. Except on my rogue, where for some reason I get a "Streaming Error". Nothing works. I had no minimap. It's just that they introduce it later in the tutorial. I had it on on the boat too but i will try something i will try to finish it and see if they show me the map XD Ty anyway. It's because of the boat tutorial hiding the minimap. Once you get to to shore, you can reload and it will show up.
